After-School Program

St. Aloysius Catholic School is pleased to offer after-school care Monday through Friday until 5:30 PM. Program staff will provide homework help, supervised outdoor play weather permitting, and occasional arts and crafts projects. Please provide your child with an extra nut-free snack (or snacks) from home and make sure your child is aware that snack is for after-school. The program is non-committal and may be used whenever the need arises as long as the parent has committed to the terms outlined in the After School form. Please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible via notify@staloysiuscs.com that your child is attending so that staffing is sufficient. Students attending the After School Program are expected to show respect for their classmates, teachers, and for other adults who work and volunteer at our school. Students who are disciplined regularly and do not improve their behavior may be asked not to attend the program. Incident reports will be used.
The cost for the 2026 / 2027 school year is $ 7.50 per hour (second child is $6.50 and so forth) measured by the 1/4 hour. For example: 2:30 – 3:45 equals 1.25 hours and a $9.88 charge for that day. You will be billed monthly for this program at the start of the next month. Please note that the program ends for the day at 5:30 PM and our coordinator is not responsible for your child(ren) past this point. Every effort must be made to have an alternate pickup person on hand for emergencies. A late fee will be incurred of $1.00 per minute if this situation arises, and parent / emergency contacts will be called. On days when the Quabbin Regional School District calls an early dismissal due to inclement weather, there will be no after-school care. If for any other reason the after-school program needs to be canceled you will be given as much notice as possible. Please park in front of the building and walk through the pedestrian gate to door # 3 on the side of the building, and follow the instructions on the door to retrieve your child.
